WELCOME
Most of this website is shameless self-
promotion. But beyond spreading my brand
far and wide, it’s also intended for students
who are considering working with me. If you
are such a student—undergraduate or
aspiring graduate student—you will find here
my research interests, my approach to
student supervision, and my unsolicited
advice for students.
I am trained as an Industrial-Organizational (I-
O) Psychologist and work in the Applied Social
Psychology Program in the Department of
Psychology at the University of Windsor. I also
served as the Department Head of Psychology
from 2013 to 2016, testing whether all these I-
O management theories really work. Results
were mixed; more research is recommended
(that’s a joke).
I am currently on sabbatical until July 2023. It
might prove challenging to get in touch with
me during this time.
Unfortunately, I am not accepting new
graduate students for the Fall 2025
semester.

“Industrial-Organizational (I-O)
Psychology is the scientific study of working
and the application of that science to
workplace issues facing individuals, teams,
and organizations. The scientific method is
applied to investigate issues of critical
relevance to individuals, businesses, and
society.”
