WELCOME

Most of this website is shameless self- promotion. But beyond spreading my brand far and wide, it’s also intended for students who are considering working with me. If you are such a studentundergraduate or aspiring graduate studentyou will find here my research interests, my approach to student supervision, and my unsolicited advice for students. I am trained as an Industrial- Organizational (I-O) Psychologist and work in the Applied Social Psychology Program in the Department of Psychology at the University of Windsor. I also served as the Department Head of Psychology from 2013 to 2016, testing whether all these I-O management theories really work. Results were mixed; more research is recommended (that’s a joke). Unfortunately, I am not accepting new graduate students for the Fall 2025 semester.

My research at a glance

Adaptability at work Worker health and well-being Job demands/characteristics Work stress and coping Workplace discrimination Conflict management Proactivity in the workplace
